ELVIRA HANCOCK MODEL 1/12TH SCALE
I always wished there was more character development behind Tony Montana's wife in Scarface so I created this luxe 80's model in honor of her. I built a sofa out of foam and chipboard and upholstered it with by folding pinning and gluing panels of velvet. The rest is plywood, foam, chipboard, and found objects.
Bio-Foam Material DEVELOPMENT
A material development study. I used textile scrap and plant based ingredients to create foam material that protects house plants from fungus, root-rot, and insects.
SRATCH-MADE LEATHER GOODS
Handmade from scratch- leather I glued, drew patterns for, skived, edge painted, sewed, stitched, punched, and grommetted.
Painted birch entertainment center that I chemically stripped, washed, and refinished by rubbing 6 coats of beeswax with cheesecloth and polish.
SET OF SHELVES
Set of shelves and frame that I stained.
cuts of various types of wood arranged as part of a texture and material study.
